Sohn Fine Art is currently accepting submissions for their 9th juried exhibition, “POV”
Sohn Fine Art is pleased to announce a call for art for their 9th Juried Exhibition, “POV”. Point of View (POV) presents an opportunity for emerging and established artists to share their point of view and artistic perspective with the public in an exhibition of their work and awards.
This open call for art will result in a group exhibition of chosen work to be on view in-person and to the public at Sohn Fine Art. The gallery is located in the heart of the Berkshires in Lenox, MA.
Artists world-wide are invited to submit 2-D and 3-D artworks in any genre that are made with any medium, including photography, artworks made with unconventional mediums and sculptures. The curator is looking for a strong and cohesive body of work by each artist that reveals the artists unique conceptual and technical perspective. This exhibition will be curated and judged by Sohn Fine Art’s Director, Cassandra Sohn and Art Advisor and Curator, Stephanie Manasseh.

Reception: Saturday, April 5, 3:00 – 6:00 (where the winners will be announced)
The submission deadline is January 26, 2025. The exhibition will be on view March 28 – April 28, 2025, with an artist reception Saturday, April 5, where show winners will be announced. The People's Choice Award Winner will be announced at the end of the exhibition, no later than May 9.
Approximately 20 artworks will be accepted into the exhibition. All work will be judged anonymously.

Due credit acknowledged through the gallery’s marketing channels including social media presentation.
$250 in cash and $250 fine art printing or framing credit to use toward printing or framing their own work through the Sohn Fine Art’s partner business, Sohn Studio.

About the Jurors
Cassandra Sohn owns, and is the Director of, Sohn Fine Art in Lenox, MA. Sohn founded the company in 2011 and runs all departments of the business. Sohn also curates exhibitions at Museums, cultural institutions and off-site galleries. She is the founder of the Master Artist Series program, which offers unique experiences with artists in the top of their fields to patrons and collectors of photography, as well as professional and aspiring photographers and artists through exhibitions, lectures and workshops.
Stephanie Manasseh is an art advisor and curator. She is the co-founder of Berkshire House and Director at Jonathan Prince Studio, splitting her time between Brussels and Massachusetts.
Born in Montreal, Canada, Manasseh earned her degree from McGill University and went on to further her studies at Sotheby's Institute and Goldsmiths in London.
In 2006, she founded SM Art Advisory, an art bureau. Drawing on her international experience advising clients from art fairs, to corporate businesses to private collectors, Manasseh offered seasoned market insight and crafted bespoke aesthetic experiences across the globe. That same year, she also founded the Accessible Art Fair (ACAF), which ran for sixteen years, offering unaffiliated artists an opportunity to exhibit and sell their work in a high-end art fair setting.
In 2021, Manasseh was appointed curator of the Sol Lewitt exhibition at the Jewish Museum of Belgium, whilst also advising the Jewish museum of Amsterdam on their 2023 LeWitt exhibition. Through her close contact with the LeWitt family, Manasseh facilitated a Sol LeWitt Wall Drawing at Berkshire House.
Manasseh’s expertise in the art world has brought her ongoing professional partnerships with many international brands including BMW, American Express, The New York Times, Montblanc, Tiffany, Alfa Romeo and The Bicester Shopping Collection.
Today, Manasseh lives both in Brussels and The Berkshires with her husband Jonathan Prince and has two grown up daughters.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
All submissions are reviewed anonymously
DEADLINE:
All entries must be received no later than January 26, 2025. You will be notified by February 7
If you are accepted into the show, please confirm your acceptance by February 10.
SUBMISSION:
Artists world-wide are invited to submit 2-D and 3-D artworks in any size, in any genre that is made with any medium, this includes photography, artworks made with unconventional mediums and sculptures. The curator is looking for a strong and cohesive body of work by each artist that reveals the artists unique conceptual and technical perspective. All submitted work must be limited editions or one-of-a-kinds. All artwork in the exhibition must be available for sale. Accepted work must arrive at the gallery installation and presentation ready, framed or finished to exhibition standards, and produced using only archival materials. Photographs must be framed (or equivalent if plexi-mounting or using an alternative process). All artwork must be dropped off or delivered to the gallery no later than March 16. If you are shipping work, you are responsible for any shipping and packing costs to and from the gallery. Unsold work can also be picked up in person at the end of the exhibition. The Gallery is located at 69 Church Street, Lenox, MA.
Sohn Fine Art takes 50% commission on sales.
You retain all rights to your images, but upon submitting, you grant Sohn Fine Art the right to use your submitted images for marketing purposes related to the call for art and exhibition. This may include email newsletters and social media posts related to the events. We will credit your images wherever possible.

Submit up to 20 images in digital format. Submitted artwork can be in any medium, including unconventional mediums, photography and sculpture. Digital files must be uploaded through CaFÉ in jpeg format with a resolution of 72 ppi and a dimension of 1920 pixels on long side and not exceeding 5 MB. Submission fee is $35 for up to 20 artworks. If you submit prior to December 15 you take advantage of our early bird submission special and may submit up to 20 images for $25. Your submission fee helps to cover our CaFÉ fees.
