Martin greene
Greene began his career as a photographer in the US Air Force and then worked as an assistant to Richard Avedon. He took numerous courses at the International Center of Photography in NYC. He has had solo exhibitions at the Becket Arts Center, the Carrie Haddad Gallery in Hudson, NY, and the Kasten Gallery in Great Barrington, MA. He also has work in the permanent collection of Berkshire Museum and has exhibited at Simon's Rock's Liebowitz and Atrium Galleries, The Norman Rockwell Museum in Lenox, The USS Constitutions Museum in Boston, and The Canyon Ranch Gallery in Lenox through the Ferrin Gallery. Currently, he is represented by Sohn Fine Art.
ARTIST'S STATEMENT
Take a close look at my work. My work speaks for me. It conveys my fascination with the simplicity of light, shape, tone and color. My focus is not on any specific subject, only on the pleasure I experience in creating unusual and compelling images.
